woa man i have not written a post in forever!!! just a little catch up for you:

since september i've been loaded with homework, went to a killer halloween party, went to california (disney land and sea world), thought about writing a blog post at least 12 times, and i realized that some people are petty and stupid. That pretty much sums it up.

anyway. today is my firday because i don't have classes on fridays (thank god!) and im just not wanting to do homework AT ALL! I have a lot to do but ya know how it is! So i'm listening to one of my favorite songs at the moment, Fireflies by Owl City. I think it's funny because i was listening to Owl City before he was ever super popular. I used to fall asleep to Adam Youngs music every night. His voice is amazing. I'm also in love with the song Sexy Bitch by David Guetta and Akon. Its such a catchy song. awesome. anyway...remember my math teacher that i was telling you about? the one that wears a purple glove to class to avoid getting chalk on her, yet somehow manages to get it all over herself anyway? Ok well...as we all know, it's winter now so no more Hawaiian shirts and cargo shorts, its time now for capri sweatpants of all colors and mens long-sleeved shirts with tall socks and, yes, moccasins. such a classy wordrobe. in this particular picture that i am about to show you, the choice of capri color was green but please pay attention to the larger circle:yes...thats right...that is her wedgie but you can SEE IT!!!!! I MEAN REALLY!??!?!?! CAN'T YOU FEEL THAT?? FIX IT SO YOUR STUDENTS DON'T HAVE TO LOOK AT IT FOR A WHOLE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!

UGGGGH! anywayyy...tonight we are celebrating the weekend and tomorrow mark and i are celebrating 6 months together :]. yay!

Do you ever feel like there's just a million and 2 things being thrown on you and you're just supposed to be ok? It's exhausting. I'm done putting on a show.

alright soooo yesterday was quite the lazy day. i did get up and clean Francis' tank (my new fish because sadly, Finwick is no longer with us.. R.I.P buddy) and make the bed and whatnot. After i got ready for the day, i made Mark a cake for his birthday that was in May haha. I told him i would a long time ago and just never got around to it. So thats what i did yesterday, and i must say that it is delicious! It was white fun-fetti cake with chocolate frosting haha. so then the rest of the day consisted of watching for million episodes on 16 and pregnant and avoiding homework at all cost. *side note: can you believe that those girls had babies at the age of 16!? i mean...kudos but really? they are still in high school and still so young. just sad i guess.* anyway...Mark and I seriously had so much homework to do but really...we both decided that we can say we worked on but just really not work on it. so shhh. haha. We ended up sitting around all day and then we decided to go to the pet store and look at puppies!! ahhh such a bad idea. i want one so bad! i held a basset hound and about died he was so cute. such a lovey dog ugggh i want one!! the pet store here in poky had a monkey and donkeys and a yak! haha! after the pet stores we went and visited with my dad for a while and came back home to make dinner. we made chicken and au gratin potatoes and salad! tasty!! then we went to a movie called Expiration date. it's about an native american man whose family leaves the reservation before he was born and so the men in the family are cursed and they die on their 25th birthday by a milktruck hahahahha! its so good! a must see for sure! check out the trailer here [click!] anyway...great movie! after that just went to bed. today was back to class day! ugh 8:00 math class is kicking my butt! Mark and i are super tired today..marks to tired that he fell asleep under my bed hahahahhaha! what a funny guy. my favorite.

so this weekend was pretty good. it started thursday night when Mark and I drove to Twin Falls to watch my brother, Joe, play a football game. It was a great game but they didn't win. Oh well. It really makes me mad that the coaches don't put him in more often. He only got to play twice, but i thought he did great both times! Good job brother! So after that Mark and I drove back to poky in my crappy piece of crap car. She barely made it but im glad i have my car back :]

The rest of the weekend we just laid around. We went to the Eastern Idaho Fair in Blackfoot which was very fun. I love fair food so much! It's so bad for you but who cares right? The fair comes once a year so you have the right to endulge...at least i think you do!

so..ya know how people sometimes wish at 11:11? Well i do every single night. Or at least i do when i notice that its 11:11. Lately i've been wishing for the same thing everytime. I'm just wondering how long it usually takes for those types of wishes to come true. i mean, i think its an easy request. oh well. i'll start wishing for something else i suppose. can't hold on forever.

Alright, so today was an average day. My only morning class was canceled so i got to sleep in. It was so amazing. Mark surprised me at lunch which was nice, and i got 100% on my history quiz and i guessed on all of it! At 5:00 though..i had my first dutch oven cooking class and it was AWESOME! My group made chicken enchiladas that were soooo good! The rest of the class made like..cake and corn bread and cheese balls haha..but it was all really good. Every person in my group gets to pick a different thing to make each week so im going to make lemon bars!! ohhh im so excited!! Im really getting into cooking and i like it a lot. Im the next Rachael Ray so watch out world!!


Anyway! So tomorrow night Mark and I are headed to Twin Falls to watch Joe play football! Im super excited to see my family and to watch Joe play! Hopefully the win! Tomorrow i also get a new rug for my room and some new cooking stuff!!! Im pretty sure tomorrow is going to be an excellent day.

Change of subject..i just want you all to see how random and awkward my math professor is...observe: ok A] she is wearing a purple latex glove. Im assuming that she doesn't want to get her hand all chalky but really...purple? she can't go with something more discrete?
B] What the crap is that thing around her knee? i have no idea!!
C] She wears wool socks and boots...yikes. The first day of class she wore wool socks and MOCCASINS! double yikes!
D] Hawaiian shirts and cargo shorts just don't go together.

She is just an interesting character. I like her, but not her clothes.

cooking adventures

So the last two nights Mark and i have been trying to cook dinner. Surprisingly enough, dinner hasn't turned out too bad. Saturday night we made spaghetti which is always a little easy to start with but if you know me well enough, you know i can't cook to save my life. But we did it. Tasted pretty dang good and we had enough left overs to feed all of Canada. Last night we decided to try enchiladas which are easyish too and they turned out good as well. We attempted Mexican rice and for some reason rice and i just don't mix. i don't think i have ever made rice that tasted great. I ended up not cooking it long enough so it was a little crunchy but still tasty. We had enough left overs to feed Canada and Russia this time. I like learning how to cook. It stresses me out but it's still fun and i like eating whatever it is that i made. Makes me feel accomplished! If anyone has any recipes they would like to share with me i'll attempt to make it!!

Second week of school has started. I only have one class mondays so its really handy. I practically get a four day weekend! so today i have to get quite a bit of homework done...but i have all day. so its not a big deal.

so today is kind of a big deal for one reason...IT'S MY COUSIN CARLY'S BIRTHDAY! YAY!

Happy Birthday Cousin (I'm definitely NOT grabbing my boob so don't even think that!)! I love you! I'm so glad we are such close friends! I just wish we were physically closer :[ We've been best friends for 19 years now and i've loved every minute we've spent together! We've been through so much together and i know that you know almost if not everything about me and visa versa. Grampy was so important to both of us and im glad that we could go through that loss together beacuase not many people understood how great he was. All of our matching outfits were amazing. I wish that my mom would have kept them so we could dress our kids in them...even if they are boys haha! I miss you every day and i wish that we lived closer together. It'll happen one day i swear it! I have a pile of blankets that we've made over the years in my closet. I wont ever get rid of them though, i mean...how could i, or you? They kick butt for one, but they have stories. Vermont stories and new years stories! I love all of them! I just hope you know how much i love you and you know that im always just a phone call away if you ever need anything at all! I strongly think that Grampy would be so proud of me and you and Hannah for everything we are doing right now. Miss you cousin!! Happy 19th Birthday! Glad you finally made it! ;)
