ok..so it's not sunday but i have a good excuse. I was camping on sunday so monday is the best i can do! Chantal called me out. Anyway..yes camping. It was really fun even though we couldn't find a spot to camp, Gus was hating every part of it, it rained the whole time and it was freezing. I had a good time though :] We ended up at Cascade at the smallest campground i've ever stayed at! notice my excitement in the picture... But really it was a good time. Gus was cold the whole time which wasn't very nice but the poor little guy was just cold! There was one point in our camping experience where Gus was alllll wound up and he was running all over the place so Mark and I put him in the tent and zipped up the two bottom parts of the tent but not the middle part...so it was still open but there was just a slit to get out of...any way, Gus couldn't figure out how to get out so he would run his head along the bottom of the screen and jump up on the screen. Just running back and forth haha! He finally got out and was so dang excited. So silly. I think he had a good time too, he was just cold.Mark had a good time too. My camper man cooked dinner and breakfast and basically set up and took everything down. Just a good guy :] it was a fun memorial day weekend!
This past week has been work and basically nothing else. A poor coworker of mine had a major family problem and needed to leave early so i went into work for her (which i was happy to do), and really thats all i've done, is work. Mark and I have been pretty busy the past couple weeks but i finally get a break this week. I only work two days and friday is my birthday!! I'm excited to be done with my teen years and become a big grown up 20 year old! Then saturday is Mark's grad party so that will be fun too! I hope the weather starts to get nice soon.
Can i just say how lucky i feel to have all that i do. I have a great family, a great boyfriend, great friends (love you bestie), great dog..just everything really. I mean, i think that i'm very fortunate to have a well paying job and a good family that lets me stay at home and good things going for me. Mark is one of the best things thats happened to me. He has a good job and he's a college graduate now. I just feel really secure. i hope that other people feel like i do because it's a really nice feeling :]
Just one last little side note. I talked with a good friend of mine, Kylie, last saturday. Just catching up i guess. It was just nice to talk to her. When we were still at school, her dog Piper (a pug & Gus's girlfriend) needed to lose three pounds over summer. So they put her on this new dog food and she swims and walks all the time and so far she has yet to lose any weight...BUT she did gain a pound! HAHAHA! Just a silly little thing that made me laugh. I miss you Kylie and Pipey too!!
ANYWAY! I guess thats all i have to say about my boring life right now. I might update sooner because i don't have to work that much this week! Until next time!
