i missed one

ok well i missed a blog post from last sunday but really i didn't have anything great to write about. Just about the first week of school. It was ok i guess. Just stressful and crazy. BSU is huge compared to ISU and i'm not sure i like it that much. I know its only like..the third week so i should give it a little more time. I just already know i don't like it. I didn't get into a class i need so i have to take it at college of western idaho (community college). So now i go to two different schools which sucks. UGH! Between school, work and homework i'm about to go crazy. I didn't think it was going to be so stressful. Gus is driving me nuts too. I need a break and a massage!!

This weekend Mark and I decided to drive to Pocatello to see all of the friends. We left on saturday after work and got to pocatello and hung out. It was fun because it was a surprise so everyone was excited and surprised! So everything is going great until the next morning when we all get up to go to breakfast. We walk outside and all four of my tires had been slashed. oh my gosh i cannot tell you how pissed i was. So i called my dad who luckily lives in pocatello AND is an Idaho State Police officer and we reported it to the police and got some new tires. UGH such a disaster. I'm pretty sure i know who did it but whatever..it makes me so mad that he wont even get in trouble. So lame.

So tonight i'll work on some homework and watch the BSU VT game. Sounds great. Bleh.

new favorite things

So much to say!

Ok soooo...this past week was me and my best friends trip to Portland to see LADY GAGA! Holy freaking cow...it was just amazing!

So we left early wednesday morning and made pretty good time. We stopped at Multanomah Falls to see the way cool water fall. It looked like a mystical fairy land...Chantal had never seen it so we had to stop! We got to Portland and got to our hotel and just hung out for a while. We watched a movie actually :] We got dinner at this sweet pizza place called Old Town Pizza. Apparently this place used to be part of an old old hotel and its haunted! I guess one of the slave girls that worked at the hotel in the early 1900's "fell" (but i guess people think she was pushed) down an elevator shaft and its said that her soul never left the hotel. So now its this crazy good pizza restaurant that still has all of the old furniture from the hotel. It was super cool. After dinner we walked around downtown PDX and ran into this gelato shop called Mio Gelato. SO AMAZING! They have Japanese green tea gelato. it was the most amazing tasting thing in the world! We ended up going back there another time it was so good :] After gelato we found a cute little second hand store and just shopped around for a while. We finally got back to the hotel and went to bed!

So the second day we were there we got up and had some breakfast. After we got around we went to get some lunch at Sushi Land...oh my gosh so cool! It's like...a sushi bar and my whole meal all together was $7.00. It was amazing! then we got some more gelato :] and headed to the zoo! The zoo was fun but it was packed and it was HUGE! My feet killed after we were done. So when the zoo was over we had to trek back to the hotel and start to get ready for the concert!!! It took us seriously forever to get ready but we looked hot if i do say so myself :] We finally got to the Rose Quarter (where the concert was) and we got inside and forgot our debit cards....we both kicked ourselves because we both needed to get a t-shirt!!! We talked to a few people and they all said that we weren't allowed to go out and come back in. We finally talked to the supervisor of the whole damn show and he let me out to the car. THANK GOODNESS! we got out shirts and got to our seats! and then...the show began! some weirdo band opened for Lady G...Semi Precious Weapons. I guess she used to open for them when they were just starting out so i guess thats cool but they weren't that great. Lady Gaga was a whole different story! The show was so freaking amazing i can't even describe it! I'm still in shock! Her outfits were awesome, her dancers were awesome, her singing was awesome, everything was awesome! I'm just so glad we did that! There were some weirdo people there though! I mean i guess i expected some crazy people but that exceeded my expectations! some many crazies! After the show we got back to the hotel and then went to sharis to eat haha. We got back and passed out.

In the morning we got up and ate and then basically took off. We got home at like...6 so we made pretty good time again. I had such a crazy good time! We took so many wrong turns, ate so much gelato, and sang our hearts out WITH lady gaga! It was a once in a lifetime thing. Loved it!

On another note, tomorrow is my first day at BSU....i'm kind of freaking out. I'm not really sure what to expect. I mean i know how the whole class thing goes i'm just not sure if it will be different at BSU than it was at ISU. It kills me that im not in pocatello right now though kylie. Sad :[ But i am having lunch tomorrow with my new friend Madeline! So i'm look forward to that for sure!

Anyway! Yesterday and today mark and i checked out some apartments and Gus ate a hung cookie shaped like a duck...great. He better not puke on my tonight. the little turd! I suppose that's it for tonight... wish me luck tomorrow! Until next time..Love you bestie :]

I'm so dang tired but i decided i should still write something. This week was good. Just work and hanging out. I went shopping with my grandma and Chantal and got some cute new outfits! Mark and I went to a Boise Hawks baseball game on friday which was super fun. They didn't win but we had good seats and it was a good time. That was also our "15 month anniversary"! Yay :] Saturday i worked and then Mark and I went to his cousins house for dinner. After we went to Marks friend Kyle's birthday. It was a redneck party and it was pretty fun :] Today we went to Boise to the boise state campus to check out where my classes will be. Ugh...such a huge campus. Luckily most of my classes are close together. We also went to see Dinner for Shmucks tonight. Sorry but it was not as good as i thought it would be. They showed all the funny parts in the commercials...

This week (wednesday) Chantal and I leave for Portland for a few days to go see LADY GAGA! I'm so so so excited! The next blog post will have lots of details and pictures :]

Miami Shore?

Sunday Post

Well I'm sitting here watching The Jersey Shore thinking that these people are freaking crazy..but i can't stop watching. And i also don't understand why they're in Miami but it's still called the jersey shore. Weeeird. Anyway. This week has basically been nothing. Working i suppose. My family went out for my grandpa's birthday on wednesday which was fun. Other than that i didn't really do anything fun. This weekend my family and mark and i went to the yellow pine harmonica festival. It's a music contest in Yellow Pine, Idaho (population 30...not kidding) that goes on all weekend. People from all over the place come and play music and eat greasy food and drink too much. It's so much fun. I had a blast. We took Gus and i was really worried that he was going to bark at everything so i bought him a bark collar. Sadly it shocks him but he has learned really fast that barking is painful so he has almost completely stopped barking. I'm so happy! He was so great this weekend. I'm so proud of my little man.

I bought my books today for my classes. UGGGH. So much money!! Im starting to get really nervous about school. I don't know my way around. I don't any people. I don't know I don't know I don't know. I need Kylie :[ Just to let you know Ky i've started a calendar for when mark and i are coming to visit :]

busy busy

Yes, i did forget to write last sunday. I'm not even sure if anyone reads these any way so i felt like it was ok if i skipped one sunday. Last week was just work but the weekend was super fun. Mark and I went to Bend, Oregon...actually Sunriver, Oregon for his family reunion. My family reunions consist of maybe 30-40 people...his are 75-95 people! So I had my work cut out for me. I feel like i did a pretty great job of remembering peoples names. I had a great time. We went horse back riding and canoeing which was really fun. I got mega sunburned but oh well. It was a quick trip but i had such a good time meeting his family. I hope i'm still around for the next one :] This past week was good. Just working like crazy and trying to get things ready for the upcoming school year. I got into most of the classes i need at BSU. So now im in English 278, History 111, Education 201, and Theater 100 (not excited about that one)...I just need to get into Math 257 and I'm set. Yesterday Mark, Gus and I drove to Pocatello to see my dad and brothers and everyone just for a little bit. I miss them :[ Actually i miss Pocatello. ISU has been so great and I just feel like leaving is putting a huge hole in my life. I don't regret my decision to move back home and be closer to family and mark..i just wish i wasn't leaving everything else. I don't know what to do...I suppose im going to give this semester at BSU a shot and see what happens. I can always go back...and i feel like i already want to. I need guidance :[ There are so many things going on right now and i just feel like it shouldn't be this hard. It's not even school time yet and i'm freaking out about school. I don't think im going to like BSU...it's depressing.

Hey all!

I feel a lot better than how i felt last sunday that's for sure! This week has been pretty crazy with work and what not. It's been fun too. Monday Mark took me to dinner and a movie. We went to the pie hole for pizza and then we watched Eclipse! Oh my gosh it was so good!!! I loved the big battle scene between the newborns and the wolfs and vampires. so awesome...i sound like a nerd. It just disappoints me that the movies can't include more of the books. The books were so dang good and the movies miss so many cool things. I guess i understand they only have so much time but still. Whatever! So monday was good.
Tuesday i got MY NEW LAPTOP SCREEN...FINALLY! I cannot tell you how much better i feel being able to see everything on my screen. Thankfully i only had to pay for the screen and my uncle could put it all together. That would have been expensive! It's just nice to see everything again!!

The rest of the week I just kind of hung out. I worked a bunch so that kept me busy. This weekend My family and mark and I went to the drive in theater and saw Shrek the Final Chapter and Prince of Persia. Both of the movies were pretty good. That was very fun. Sunday we all went over to my aunt Marcy's house and swam in her pool and just hung out. It was pretty fun. Nice and hot.

I'm excited about this next week. I'm getting my hair done (finally!) on wednesday and then on thursday Mark and I are headed off to Oregon to his family reunion! I'm very very excited!

Hey all...

Well, sadly I don't really know what to write about. I mean..honestly this week was so..nothing. I feel like my life is at a stand still right now. I'm not really doing anything and i feel like the important things in my life aren't going anywhere. This weekend was a huge disappointment and i just need to get out of this terrible routine. This is what older people are supposed to be saying. Not a 20-year-old. I feel like i rely on other people to make me happy. I want to know how to make myself happy. I think this next week I'm going to really try to find that place where i make myself happy. No more depending on others. I'm sorry this post isn't the best. I'm not in the best mood....

new car smell

Hey again!

This week has been super busy. But amazing :]
On Monday i went to BSU to get that stuff all squared away. I got registered and i guess i kind of signed up for classes. I'm on a waiting list for three of the classes which sucks but hopefully those classes work out. I met a new friend too! Her name is Madeline. She basically has the same story as i do. We are both transferring to BSU for boy reasons and she's just as frustrated as i am. We are very similar and i like her already! I'm excited to hang out with her more. Anyway monday was so crazy busy. From 9:30 to 2:20 i was at BSU, from 2:30 to 7 i worked and from 7:10 to midnight i was at a Job's Daughters meeting (which is too much to explain now). So basically i was on my feet all freaking day. it was crazy.

The rest of the week was just work and errands and such. Mark and I looked at quite a few places to live...just nothing yet. We did find one thats kind of an apartment. It's a 2 bedroom 1 bath little place. Very cute. We're still looking...

The weekend was pretty fun. I had to work on saturday but after work Mark and I went to Melba and met up with Matt and Chantal. The fireworks were amazing! That was a really good time. There were so many dang people there i could not believe it! Saw a bunch of people from high school too. It was pretty fun.

Saturday was pretty laid back. Mark and I just hung out. Drove around boise for a while and then came home and napped. We went out to my step dads, uncles house and watched the fireworks that my family sets off. That was really fun too. My family does a big show every year and its always bigger and better each time. It was way fun and i think that Mark had a good time too! Hope everyone had a good 4th of July!!

TODAY!! Was a super great day! Mark came over at 8:30 and my mom, my step dad, mark and myself loaded into my step dads truck and drove to the car dealership to get me a neeeeew car!! I got a 2005 Toyota Camry. It's charcoal gray and i looooove it!!! It has a sunroof and a way cool stereo system! AH! I'm so happy and excited to have this car. Everyone needs to come drive around with me! Yay!

Hello my readers...all 2 of you...i'm back for my weekly post. I guess i don't have a lot to report on. I'm super tired tonight so this post will probably be short. I worked a lot this past week so i didn't have a lot of time for other things. Sam (step sistaa) and I had coffee and read for a little bit on tuesday which was nice. We did a lot of shopping that day too :] Other than that, this week was just blah. The weekend was basically the same. The weather has been so nice so i've been trying to hang out outside. Gus loves being outside so that was nice to just play with him. Mark and I went to look at cars Saturday too and i found a few i like! I really really like the Dodge Calibers and the Nissan Versa! I found both of them for pretty good prices so hopefully i will get to test drive a few this next week!

Tomorrow i have my Boise State University orientation...yay...i guess i'm pretty nervous about it. I'm going by myself too so that makes it a little worse. Ugh. I don't really know what to expect. It'll be good but i'm just a little scared...

I report back next week about how BSU went and the whole car thing too! Sorry this is so short and boring. Wish me luck!

Soooo I'm writing this on monday because i was super tired last night and i also figured no one reads this anyway so....yeah! This past week (like i've said a hundred times) was pretty average. I worked monday, tuesday, friday, and saturday so i didn't do a whole lot those days. Wednesday was my brothers 17th birthday. He is living in pocatello with my dad for the summer so me, my mom, my aunt and my grandma drove all the way down to pocatello on wednesday to take my brother out to lunch for his birthday. We actually drove an old Lincoln Towne Car so it was like a old limo. It was hilarious. There are so many problems with that car that it took us an extra hour each way to get there. We decorated the windows to so we looked extra ridiculous! It was a pretty good trip. A very long day.

Friday i worked and then Mark took me to dinner. He went out with his friends and i hung at home. It was pretty boring. I watched the whole first season on the hills. It sounds like a lot but the episodes are only 2o minutes so NO BIG DEAL.

Saturday i worked. I got off and 5 and then mark and i took off to go camping with my parents. We went up to Brownlee Dam. Of course the weather was nice the whole day i was working but then when i get off it starts to storm. We got up to the camp site and got Marks brand new tent and then the wind started to blow. The wind broke pieces off his tent and we had to actually take it down at 12:30 in the morning and cram into my parents camper. It was miserable! On sunday mark and i got up and went fishing. I caught two fish! It was so exciting. After fishing the wind picked up again so we ate breakfast and took off. We got home and kinda vegged out for a while and then me and mark and sam (my step sister) went to Toy Story 3! It was pretty dang cute. I cannot believe that it was $13.5o a person to see it though! Like holy cow!!!! I would say that it would be just as good without the 3D effects. just ridiculous!

Other news... um... Mark and i are looking for apartments right now annnnnd i guess thats it. Anyway....Until next time...

So another blog entry for the week. This past week has been pretty average. My forehead healed up thank goodness but not i have a big scratch on my upper lip from Gus. Something scared him and he ran over my face. Awesome. Also, i dropped my laptop and nooooow i have a huge crack on the screen. Just great. At least i can still see everything. I'm so mad at myself though. If anyone has an extra $400 they can spare it would be greatly appreciated. I do have the best boyfriend on the planet though, he did give me some extra money to get a new screen. And he took my to the zoo today. We went because thats what i wanted to do for my birthday but the weather was TERRIBLE that day! So today we went and it was so fun. The weather was great and the animals were out and it was super fun. There is a new Wallaby walk through and you walk around and the Wallabys just bounce around in there and you walk right up to them. So cute! The zoo really looks nice. They've done a lot of neat things and it's so much fun.

I've been really into watching Glee. It is literally my new favorite show. I've only watched the first like....12 episodes but IM HOOKED! I wish that my high school had a show choir...or even a good choir. They are so fun to watch and the people on Glee sounds so amazing. I can't wait for the second half of the second season to come out. I NEED TO KEEP WATCHING!

Anyway...i guess i don't really have anything else to report. This past week was pretty bland. My dad did come into town and Mark and I had dinner with him. That was pretty fun. Other than that. I got nothing. Have a good week. Until next time.

WELLL!

This past week has been pretty great. i didn't have to work last monday and that's when Mark and I got home from camping which was really fun. Tuesday and Wednesday i worked so nothing exciting those days but thursday was just laid back than friiiidayyyyyy WAS MY 20TH BIRTHDAY! Yay! Mark and I took Gus to the vet that morning and got his last set of shots finally and OMG he weighs 8 1/2 pounds! He was 3 1/2 pounds when we bought him! Such a big boy! So after that Mark and I just hung out and went to lunch. We finally went to dinner at the Melting Pot in boise....holy cow so good. It's a fondue restaurant so we had like...4 courses! The first course was a cheese fondue which was awesome. Then we had salads (also awesome) then a meat fondue that came with raw chicken, steak and shrimp and you cook it in a boiling chicken broth. It was sooo good. Finally dessert :] we had the "Flaming Turtle!" which was milk chocolate and caramel with pecans and they light it up so its on fire! Dinner was so amazing and I'm so lucky to have a guy that spoils me so much :] So after dinner my good friends Riley and Shayla threw me a little party. Very very fun! Thanks girls!

Saturday was Marks graduation party. I got to his house early to help set up and then we all just hung out until the party started. It was a lot of fun and i'm so proud of mark for getting through college! Today i had my family birthday party at my house. It was so fun! We basically set the party up all day. I had about 8 family members come and then my bestie Chantal and her boyfriend Matt and then Mark came. It was so fun. Luckily it didn't rain so we could sit outside and enjoy the fairly nice weather. For dessert instead of cake i wanted chocolate fondue again haha so we did that. So tasty! I got a lot of neat presents too! I got a mini martini shaker and four martini glasses, some way cool salad tongs, a camping first aid kit, a cute dress and some other clothes, a bunch of money, a scentsy, some bookends and a way cool chair!!! I feel like i did pretty well this birthday :] Thanks to everyone that sent birthday wishes my way! I'm not a teen anymore!!

Ok so last night when i got home from Mark's grad party, i was just putting stuff away in my room. I went to throw something away and i missed the garbage can so i bent down to pick it up. Instead of being cautious about the situation, i threw my forehead into the corner of my tv stand and busted my forehead open. So now i have this gash on my face that is so stinken sore and big and red and bruised. UGH! So stupid!

Anyway. I guess thats all i have to update whoever reads this thing on. I'll be back next sunday to write more about my boring life :] Until next time.

Memorial

ok..so it's not sunday but i have a good excuse. I was camping on sunday so monday is the best i can do! Chantal called me out. Anyway..yes camping. It was really fun even though we couldn't find a spot to camp, Gus was hating every part of it, it rained the whole time and it was freezing. I had a good time though :] We ended up at Cascade at the smallest campground i've ever stayed at! notice my excitement in the picture... But really it was a good time. Gus was cold the whole time which wasn't very nice but the poor little guy was just cold! There was one point in our camping experience where Gus was alllll wound up and he was running all over the place so Mark and I put him in the tent and zipped up the two bottom parts of the tent but not the middle part...so it was still open but there was just a slit to get out of...any way, Gus couldn't figure out how to get out so he would run his head along the bottom of the screen and jump up on the screen. Just running back and forth haha! He finally got out and was so dang excited. So silly. I think he had a good time too, he was just cold.
Mark had a good time too. My camper man cooked dinner and breakfast and basically set up and took everything down. Just a good guy :] it was a fun memorial day weekend!


This past week has been work and basically nothing else. A poor coworker of mine had a major family problem and needed to leave early so i went into work for her (which i was happy to do), and really thats all i've done, is work. Mark and I have been pretty busy the past couple weeks but i finally get a break this week. I only work two days and friday is my birthday!! I'm excited to be done with my teen years and become a big grown up 20 year old! Then saturday is Mark's grad party so that will be fun too! I hope the weather starts to get nice soon.

Can i just say how lucky i feel to have all that i do. I have a great family, a great boyfriend, great friends (love you bestie), great dog..just everything really. I mean, i think that i'm very fortunate to have a well paying job and a good family that lets me stay at home and good things going for me. Mark is one of the best things thats happened to me. He has a good job and he's a college graduate now. I just feel really secure. i hope that other people feel like i do because it's a really nice feeling :]

Just one last little side note. I talked with a good friend of mine, Kylie, last saturday. Just catching up i guess. It was just nice to talk to her. When we were still at school, her dog Piper (a pug & Gus's girlfriend) needed to lose three pounds over summer. So they put her on this new dog food and she swims and walks all the time and so far she has yet to lose any weight...BUT she did gain a pound! HAHAHA! Just a silly little thing that made me laugh. I miss you Kylie and Pipey too!!

ANYWAY! I guess thats all i have to say about my boring life right now. I might update sooner because i don't have to work that much this week! Until next time!

Well...I suppose I'm back...maybe. I think that setting a goal to write a blog post every...Sunday would be a good idea. So that's what I'm going to do. Every Sunday I will write a new blog post updating the people who actually read this pointless blog on how my boring life is going :]

It's summer time so I'm back at home working for the best place on the planet...Cartridge world...(being totally sarcastic). Really the place isn't that bad, I would just like to work somewhere that I will gain experience with what I'm going into (teaching). C-dub will work for now. I can't not have a job because I need the money soooo bad. I'm actually staying here and transferring to BSU instead of going back to ISU for school. Mark graduated (very proud of him) so he is not going back to school in the fall and I'm not doing the long distance thing. Hopefully everything will work out and it will be a nice change. We're looking for a good place to live in Boise so if anyone has some suggestions let me know :] So I'm working...and that's about it. Mark and I got a puppy so I've been taking care of my baby, Gus a lot too. He's the best puppy. I love my little man!So far the weather has been terrible. Not summer weather at all. It's really killing my tan haha! I need it to start warming up so if someone could get that going for me that would be great!

I think that's all I'll write for now. I'll try my best to update my blog every Sunday. Even if nobody reads this, it's kind of a nice way to vent. :]
